How do I know your company will do a good job?

We are experienced, thorough, careful and committed to doing the best job we can, as we want your business not just once but again and again. As testimony to our high standards repeat business and customer recommendations account for over 80% of our business. As far as our skills are concerned, we attend regular training sessions to learn about new techniques, new products and how to get the best out of the equipment we use in order to provide the highest level clean available in the market.

What equipment and products do you use?

When it comes to cleaning products, almost all our solutions are now organic. Sureclean will use the right equipment, the right processes and the right products for every job.  We make sure we are not just up to date but also that we are environmentally responsible and well trained.  However, every job is different because every home is different; there is no standard formula.  Instead, we will assess what is needed for each job.

Which is the best cleaning method?

Because every job is different, our multi method organic cleaning systems are designed to meet individual fabric and fibre requirements to ensure that each job is completed to the highest standard possible, meaning that your clean lasts longer providing unrivalled value for money.

Using powerful hot water extraction and rapid drying methods we are able to deep clean carpets right to the bottom of the pile. Hot water extraction and rapid drying systems have recently become much more efficient; carpets can dry within 60 minutes, and furnishings dry within 1-4 hours (depending on conditions).  The products we use do not leave residues and therefore do not attract dirt (which detergent and chemical cleaning does), leaving your home cleaner and fresher for longer.

What can I expect from cleaning realistically?

When we visit your home to price the job, we will give an assessment of what we can achieve.  If there are some stains or marks that we do not think we can remove completely, we will let you know.  We will also let you know if can see any other possible problems. We aim to give new life to the fibres of your carpet and upholstery, and because we only use safe organic cleaning solutions there will be no shrinkage and no colour run.

Will all the stains come out?

No cleaning company can guarantee that every mark or stain will be removed completely. Though most stains will be removed, the fact is that some marks and stains will not disappear; at best they will be reduced.  We will always to do our best to remove them, pointing out that in a few cases all we or anyone can achieve is to improve them.

How soon afterwards will we be back to normal?

Though you can walk on your carpets immediately after cleaning, it is best to leave them undisturbed until they are dry.  Carpets can be dry within 60 minutes. Sofas and chairs are best left unused until they are dry, usually within 1-4 hours. Dry times are dependant on several things, such as type of fabric, air movement and ventilation.  If we have put protectors under the legs of furniture to protect your carpet while it dries, you should leave them in place until the carpet is fully dry.  If we clean curtains in situ, you will be able to use them immediately though it is best to leave them drawn closed so that air can circulate around them.

How can I speed up drying times?

Do not just turn up the heating hoping it will speed up the drying process.  If you can, open as many doors and windows as possible as this will create air movement.  If you cannot leave windows open while you are out, open them as soon as you can.

Will cleaning shorten the life of my furnishings?

No regular cleaning will slow down the wearing process - dirt and grime are abrasive and can cause damage to fibres.  If there are areas which are worn or damaged, we can take special care but there is a slight risk that damage can be affected by cleaning.  We will advise you if there are any risks so you can decide what to do.

Do I need to prepare for your visit?

We will make things as easy as we can for you but we do need your help with a few things:

  •  Please make sure we have access to hot water.  Our cleaning equipment can heat water but it takes a long time to do so.
  • If we can move large furniture (such as chairs, sofas and tables) we will do so as we clean.  But for insurance reasons we ask you to move small items such as lamps, ashtrays, ornaments, plants and fragile or valuable items of furniture Beyond that, we will advise you of anything specific when we first visit you to assess and price the job.

How do I pay?

We accept payment by cash or cheque.
